Thousands of people turned out in a sports stadium in Pretoria, South Africa, yesterday trying to break the world record for the biggest cookout. Organizers say they were aiming for 3,000 people for the big grill.

The "Guinness Book of World Records" hasn’t yet determined if they set the cookout record.
